Visit the Chrome Web Store and search for "Hexbon"
Click Add to Chrome
Confirm the installation by clicking Add extension
The Hexbon icon will appear in your browser toolbar
Tip: Pin the Extension
Click the puzzle piece icon in Chrome's toolbar, then click the pin icon next to Hexbon. This keeps the extension always visible for quick access.
Overview
The Hexbon Chrome Extension provides quick access to your encrypted password and data storage directly from your browser toolbar. It's designed to work seamlessly with your Hexbon account while keeping your data secure.
Offline Access
Sync your data once and access it anytime, even without an internet connection.
Client-Side Decryption
Your password never leaves your device. All decryption happens locally in your browser.

Copy passwords, secrets, and notes to clipboard with a single click.

First Time Setup
Connect the extension to your Hexbon account
Your decryption password is never sent to any server. All decryption happens locally in your browser. If you forget your password, there is no way to recover your data.
Sign In to Hexbon
Click the extension icon and then click "Login to Hexbon.com". This will open hexbon.com in a new tab where you can sign in with your account.
Fetch Your Encrypted Data
After signing in, click the extension icon again and select "Fetch Encrypted Data". The extension will download your encrypted data from Hexbon's servers.
Enter Your Decryption Password
Enter your encryption key (the same one you use on hexbon.com dashboard) and click "Decrypt". Your data will be decrypted locally in your browser.
Browse Your Data
Once decrypted, you'll see your cards and records. Click any card to view its records, and click a record to see its contents. Use the search bar to quickly find what you need.

The Hexbon Chrome Extension is designed with security as a top priority. Here's how we protect your sensitive data.
Client-Side Decryption Only
Your encryption password never leaves your device. All decryption is performed locally in your browser using the Web Crypto API.
Zero-Knowledge Architecture
Hexbon servers only store your already-encrypted data. We cannot decrypt your data because we never have access to your encryption key.
Encrypted Local Storage
If you choose to store your password locally, it's encrypted before being saved. The encrypted data is stored in Chrome's secure extension storage.
Minimal Permissions
The extension only requests permissions it needs: storage (for caching) and host access to hexbon.com only.
